Journeys’ end for the Wharfe under its own name. Here near Cawood the Wharfe meets
with, and becomes the River Ouse. Together they continue their easterly course, on
towards the Humber estuary, and eventually the North Sea.
Wharfe Ings. The Wharfe loses its identity here at Cawood where it merges with the River Ouse.
